Lacquered wood frame
Painted wood
Dust weekly with a dry cloth. For dried dirt, wipe with a thoroughly wrung cloth dampened with warm water. For oil or grease, put dishwashing detergent on a damp sponge, clean the mark, then wipe again with a well-wrung warm-water cloth. Keep detergent off the furniture itself. Work along the grain with light pressure; forceful rubbing can polish isolated areas. Avoid abrasive cleaners, solvents, ammonia and alcohol. Dry the surface fully afterwards.

Washing and adjusting covers
Use the care symbols supplied with the product to determine how its cover may be washed at home. Readjust Velcro fasteners periodically to smooth usage creases. Where no fasteners are fitted, smooth the cover by hand from the centre towards the outside.
Original manufacturer guidanceDusting and liquid spills
Dust using soft, dry cotton. Address spills immediately and absorb the liquid with paper towels. Then use white cotton or microfibre lightly dampened with water and neutral soap, and allow the surface to dry in a ventilated place.
Original manufacturer guidanceStains on covers
Blot a stain promptly with clean white cloth. If residue must be lifted, carefully use the flat side of a spoon or knife horizontally against it, without damaging the cover. Blot inward from the edges to limit rings. Use light circular movements rather than heavy pressure.
Original manufacturer guidanceSETPN leather care kit
The Chinotto sheet identifies B&B Italia leather maintenance and cleaning kit SETPN, available through manufacturer stores and dealers. Use this reference for the leather upholstery option, after confirming whether the cover is fabric or leather.
