Care and maintenance

Confirm the material

Confirm with your supplier that the surface is FENIX. Other similar-looking matte surfaces may not tolerate the same cleaning liquids.

Original manufacturer guidance
Everyday cleaning

Use warm water or a household cleaner following its safety instructions. Always finish by rinsing with warm water and drying with a clean cloth to avoid limescale residue.

Original manufacturer guidance
Avoid abrasion

Do not use abrasive creams, scouring pads or hard brushes. FENIX allows a wet melamine eraser.

Original manufacturer guidance
Coffee and wine stains

The stain page advises absorbing coffee or wine, using kitchen degreaser and rinsing thoroughly; dry after removing wine. Consult the corresponding section of the manufacturer’s stain guide.

Other common stains

The official stain guide has separate videos for syrup, soft drinks, oil, tomato sauce, shoe polish, lipstick and sauce. Choose the exact stain tutorial; do not replace it with the coffee or wine method.

Deep cleaning

First confirm the surface is FENIX. The manufacturer lists warm water, kitchen degreaser, limescale-removing liquid, a wet melamine eraser and clean cloths. Follow its video for the sequence and its linked cleaning guidelines for the full method.

Thermal healing

Confirm the material is FENIX; ask the supplier if uncertain. Follow the manufacturer demonstration linked below before thermal healing. Do not apply this procedure to other matte surfaces that merely look similar.
