Materials
Aluminium
Use soft microfibre and material-specific polish; wear fabric gloves. PH 5 Retake raw aluminium needs occasional dry-oil treatment; inspect and treat its steel undershade against corrosion.
Original manufacturer guidanceBrass
Aged brass is lacquered: damp microfibre, no polishing or harsh cleaners. Untreated brushed/polished brass naturally patinates; brass polish can retain shine. Lacquered/metallised brass: damp microfibre, no abrasive or chemical cleaners.
Original manufacturer guidanceCopper
Untreated copper patinates; to retain a new appearance use gloves and copper-specific polish. Lacquered copper: regular gentle wiping with damp microfibre.
Original manufacturer guidanceGlass

Original manufacturer guidanceMarble
