Care by finish
Solid and brushed brass
For solid and brushed brass only, soften candle wax in hot water. To remove patina, add two tablespoons of citric acid per litre and one drop of detergent; leave for about ten minutes, then wipe with soft dry cloth. Remaining patina may be treated with brass polish and wiped dry. Do not transfer the acid or polishing procedure to bronzed brass or coated finishes.

Do not use citric acid or polish: these remove the deliberate oxidised finish. Soften wax using hot water with a drop of dish soap, then dry.

Chrome, brushed chrome, black chrome, black and rose gold must not be polished or acid-cleaned. Use hot water with a drop of dish soap and dry all three holes before stacking.
